We're certified. We're qualified. And yet we still get our hands dirty.
Tom and Georgiann Kuberra, co-owners of Northern Lights Landscaping, are committed to creating beautiful, functional landscapes while working hand-in-hand with their customers. They believe that's the best way to establish trust—and trust opens the clearest path to a perfectly personalized landscape.
Tom has spent more than 25 years in the industry, helping found Northern Lights Landscaping in 1984. He sees every landscape as outdoor living space—as functional and satisfying as its indoor counterpart—and due to our short growing season because of a colder climate, he believes that the time you do get to spend in the yard and garden should be a relaxing experience. Tom is a certified landscape professional through the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) and is certified with the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). He is also an associate of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).
After 16 years in the customer service sector, nine of which were spent in safety and construction scheduling, Georgiann is qualified to provide the premium level of service our customers expect and deserve. She puts value on building relationships versus simply making sales, so as your landscape matures, so does your connection with Northern Lights. What's more, she shares her philosophy of "landscaping for your soul," ensuring that you'll feel right at home anytime you're out in the yard. Georgiann has earned a bachelor's degree in business, with an emphasis in human resource management, as well as a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology.
